The Gendron Heavy Duty Transport Stretcher is designed to treat and transport larger patients or patients who may need more room during transport. Proudly made in the USA, this Heavy Duty Stretcher offers a weight capacity of 1,000 lbs evenly distributed. Gendron stretchers are designed with features that provide effortless and reliable patient handling. This stretcher is equipped with an adjustable Hydraulic Fowler backrest equipped with a foot pedal that controls the elevation of the hydraulic fowler between 0° and 80°. Steel powder-coat painted construction is extremely durable and resistant to abrasion and corrosion providing little to no maintenance. Two-position vertical side rails are located on each side of the stretcher. The side rails offer ease of use depending on whether you are transporting or transferring the patient while not taking up space horizontally. The rails are 57.5” long and come 10.5” above the stretcher top ensuring the patient is secure when utilized. The Heavy-duty 8' casters are equipped with side-mounted lever brakes equipped with Steer/Brake functions. The simple yet sophisticated design offers ease of use when transporting or transferring the patient. The 4' high-density litter pad offers patient comfort which is extremely important The nylon cover is a benefit to your facility with its resistance to most medical-type stains. There are four IV sockets – one on each corner of the stretcher giving you the flexibility for IV pole placement. Patient Weight Capacity on the General Duty Stretchers is 1,000 lbs. Also available are a standard 350 lbs transport stretcher and a specialized MRI stretcher for MRI suites.
