The mission of Assured Bio Labs, LLC is to protect the air that we breathe in our homes and businesses. This is achieved through the lab’s two distinctive arms:

Research and development

The commercial services arm analyzes data collected by industrial hygienists, which test for molds, allergens, bacteria, and volatile organic compounds at residential, commercial, and industrial locations. We strive to provide the best customer service in the field with the fastest turnaround times and trustworthy and accurate reporting of data. Through the research and development arm, Assured Bio continually develops products and “new-to-the-world” biotechnology solutions for use in the indoor air quality market and beyond.

The AssuredBio Team

Assured Bio Labs, LLC employs a team with diverse backgrounds. The lab is structured under the direction of Edward A. Sobek, Ph.D., whose expertise in Mycology and Microbiology afford the lab the vision and insight necessary to become a leader in developing and validating technologies that ensure healthy indoor air. Aiding analytical and research efforts, AssuredBio also has an excellent support staff that specialize in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Engineering, and Business.

Location

Assured Bio Labs, LLC has a 5,000 ft²research laboratory in the heart of the Tennessee Valley Corridor in Oak Ridge, TN. Oak Ridge is the home of Oak Ridge National Laboratory and is a short drive from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
