At least 12 million emergency department patients annually fail to get the rapid functional brain monitoring of an EEG required to guide therapy and save lives. NYU neuroscientist Dr. André Fenton has created the microEEG^® system in response. microEEG, for which BSG has received FDA 510(k) clearance in June 2012, has received over $5.5M in competitive NIH grant funding.
