How everything began

A.M.I. is first registered as a company in 1998.

Towards the end of 1998, a group of professionals decided to combine their extensive knowledge of the medical device industry and engineering processes to follow a common goal: namely to provide European surgeons with the professional support required to realise their product ideas, and to bring them to market in the shortest possible timeframe. Since the company’s establishment, the products developed have been sold throughout the world by A.M.I.’s ever-growing network of international distributors.

Where we are today

Since 2004, A.M.I.‘s headquarters have been located in Feldkirch, not far from the shores of Lake Constance in close proximity to both Switzerland and Germany. Along with the company’s management, these buildings are home to the administration, accounts, marketing and engineering teams, as well as containing the production area. After undergoing considerable expansion in 2009, the manufacturing facilities were enlarged further in 2013 with the construction of a third building.

Within a very short period of time, A.M.I. has been able to establish itself on the European surgical scene as a supplier of innovative, new products and methods, and is now represented on all continents throughout the world.
