Nitrogen Generators for Plastics Molding - Plastics & Resins

The technique consists of injecting into the mold, after the introduction of the plastic material, a inert gas (N2) with high pressure in order to obtain an internal cavity. This procedure allows to obtain, with relatively simple molds, artifacts with cavities of various sizes devoid of surface imperfections. The nitrogen produced by the generator is an inert gas that does not interact with the plastic material. The gas assisted molding allows to obtain finished products with a highly qualitative reduction of the thickness of the plastic material used.
