National Doctor’s Day - What effect has the Covid-19 pandemic had on healthcare in the US?

National Doctor’s Day is celebrated every year on March 30th. The first Doctor’s Day observance was March 30th, 1933, in Winder, Georgia. This first observance included mailed greeting cards and flowers placed on the graves of deceased physicians. In 1990, legislation was passed to establish a national Doctor’s Day.  

The Covid-19 pandemic has pushed the limits of healthcare all over the world. Today, we want to take a moment to honor those who have dedicated their lives to caring for people during the pandemic and looking at how healthcare has changed in the last year.
