RF Cannulae
Diros OWL - RF Cannulae
Diros OWL® RF Cannulae are manufactured using medical grade stainless steel and insulation creating a rigid, sharp, and smooth cannula designed for ease of use and for accurate placement of the cannula bare tip. Cannulae are available in diameters ranging from 22 gauge to 16 gauge and are color coded for identification. Bare tip configurations: Sharp Straight, Sharp Curved, Blunt Curved, Blunt Straight. The Disposable Diros OWL® RF Cannulae decrease costs, eliminate the possibility of cross-contamination, and are individually packaged/sterilized and offered in a box of 10 pieces. Diros OWL® RF Cannulae are to be used with the corresponding length RF Probes, and can be used with either Diros OWL® RF Probes re-useable or disposable.
Diros OWL - DXE Cannulae
Diros OWL® DXE Cannulae are used for non-temperature controlled radiofrequency lesion procedures. The operator uses the RF OUTPUT CONTROL rotary knob and voltage readings to determine the lesion created or PRF delivered to the patient. The DXE Cannula has a flexible, long injection port attached, which allows the user to inject and keep hands outside the x-ray beam. The DXE Cannulae are manufactured using medical grade stainless steel and insulation creating a rigid, sharp, and smooth cannula designed for ease of use and for accurate placement of the cannula bare tip. DXE cannulae are offered in 23 and 22 gauge, and are color-coded for identification. Bare tip configurations: Sharp Straight, 5 mm bare tip. The Diros OWL® DXE Cannulae decrease costs, eliminate the possibility of cross-contamination, and are individually packaged/sterilized and offered in a box of 10 pieces.
Diros OWL - DRC Injection Cannulae
Diros OWL® DRC Injection Cannulae are used for injection blocks such as for medial branches of posterior primary rami and other injection procedures. DRC Injection Cannulae have a long flexible tubing attached to their injection port which allows the user to inject and keep hands outside the x-ray beam. The DRC Injection Cannulae are manufactured using medical grade stainless steel creating a rigid and sharp cannula designed for ease of use and accurate placement of the cannula’s tip.

Diros OWL® RF TridentTM Cannulae allow the user to limit the approach to a nerve such as the medial branch to a single step, perpendicular approach, very much the same as a anesthetic block of this nerve, resulting in quicker placement, less x-ray exposure, and greatly reducing procedure time. Once the TridentTM Cannula’s tip has reached the nerve, 3 tines are easily deployed from the tip by simple manipulation of the handle. The tine configuration is pyramid-like, resulting in a similar pyramid shaped lesion whose large base encompasses the nerve.

Diros OWL® RF TridentTM Hybrid Cannulae encompasses a TridentTM Cannula, a temperature sensor, and a long flexible injection port all in one. The Hybrid version of the TridentTM Cannulae allows for even more time saving, ensures your temperature sensor is always at the bare tip, and eliminates movement of placement when stimulating or injecting.
