MEISINGER launched a new instrument kit for the laboratory in cooperation with international renowned dental technician Klaus Müterthies.

The MEISINGER Occlusal Reduction Burs allow you to perform precise occlusal reductions. With this unique, angled depth stop, a precisely defined removal is possible. The vertical orientation also ensures good access to fissures and pits. The drills are available in 1.5 mm, 1.8 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.2 mm and 2.4 mm lengths, each corresponding to specific restoration materials.A drill for labial reduction of 1.0 mm in length is also available. Each size is available in a kit. The new Tapered Occlusal Reduction Burs are equipped with an 8° cone and a unique depth stop. They are ideal for the precise preparation of veneers, inlays and onlays. Due to the double color coding, the Tapered Occlusal Reduction Burs can be easily distinguished from the Original Occlusal Reduction Burs.

The MEISINGER Diamond Discs are suitable for precise partition and separation. The comprehensive assortment contains the right discs for every material ranging from plastic, ceramic, zirconium oxide and plaster. They are characterized by a precise diamond coating, very long lifetimes and vibration-free cutting.

MEISINGER’s Twist Finishers are very good for working with composites and other filling materials, due to their precise twist angle. With their unique cutting geometry, the instruments guarantee a very high smoothness and cut significantly finer than carbide finishers. They leave no grooves and achieve smoother surfaces than fine diamond instruments do. MEISINGER Twist Finishers are available in 5 different shapes and 3 different qualities: from fine with 8 to 12 cutting edges through extra fine with 30 cutting edges. The instruments are color-coded for differentiation and are available either in individual packs or in an assortment. The Twist Finishing Kit combines all available instruments in one assortment, providing an ideal foundation for flawless work results.

These MEISINGER grinding tools are especially designed for precise adjusting and easy processing of Zirconia restorations. The special bonding ensures very low heat generation and significantly reduces the risk of micro-fissures. These properties make the MEISINGER abrasives ideal instruments for Zirconia adjustments in CAD/CAM technology.

In addition to the Micro Screw System and the Trephine Ejection Kit MEISINGER presents three new systems for hard and soft tissue processing. The new osteotomy compilation (Ost-Tray) offers a perfect combination of specially configured manual surgical instruments. The perfect combination of instrument for soft tissue processing are included in the new Soft-Tray. A special feature is the scalpel blade holder with swivel head, with which the scalpel angle can be freely adjusted depending on the processing area. The new Sinus-Tray includes manual instruments, coordinated with Prof. Khoury, which support the user in gently dispersing the Schneiderian membrane during the external Sinus-Lift.

The Degranulation Kit contains four extra coarse, round diamond instruments with a diameters of 1.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 mm. The instruments have been specially developed to enable quick and easy bone debridement. With the help of these diamonds, degranulation tissue adhering to the bone can be removed quickly and easily without damaging the surrounding bone, so that subsequently inserted grafting material comes into direct contact with healthy bone. This makes the Degranulation Kit a crucial addition to the degranulation process.

Surgical Scissors made of detachable individual parts. The MEISINGER Easy-Clean Scissors made of high-quality stainless steel can be easily and completely disassembled and put back to-gether again. Residues below the hinge can be completely removed – for a residue-free processing. For dismantling, the scissors only need to be opened at a right angle. Then the upper part of the scissors is lifted briefly. In addition, the scissors have a black coating that is applied using PVD procedure (vacuum-based coating). Thanks to this black coating the products reach high hardness and durability. Furthermore, disturbing light reflections are reduced, and glare-free work is possible.
