Immundiagnostik - Model K 9396 - Anti-Human Epidermal Transglutaminase IgA (anti-heTG IgA) ELISA
Celiac disease / gluten intolerance is a chronic gastrointestinal disease with a prevalence of about 1:250 in Europe. The definition of gluten intolerance has to be revised due to new data regarding its prevalence. The classic diagnosis of fully developed celiac disease by biopsy-proven villous atrophy only represents the top of the iceberg ("Iceberg model", Logan 1992). Gluten intolerance is, next to its classic symptoms, associated with other autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, dermatitis herpetiformis Duhring, or diabetes mellitus) or with a risk for miscarriage. The main proteins that rheumatoid arthritis patients react to are gluten.
Immundiagnostik - Model KR4222 - Bone Sialoprotein (BSP)
Bone Sialoprotein (BSP) is a glycoprotein, which accounts for approximately 10% of the non-collagenous matrix protein of bones. BSP (as well as other glycoproteins such as osteonectin and osteopontin) plays a regulatory role in bone metabolism, e.g. the control of mineralisation in the formation of new bones and bone resorption. BSP contains an Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD)-sequence, which is essential for the attachment of cells to bone surfaces (Fisher et al., 1990). BSP has important functions in the initiation of hydroxyapatite-crystallisation and in the interaction between bone cells and the mineralised bone matrix.

Model KC2201 - Vitamin B1 (Thiaminpyrophosphate) HPLC
Vitamin B1 (thiamin) is a watersoluble Vitamin, which consists of a pyrimidine- and thiazolring linked via a methylen bridge. It is sensitive against alkaline solution, oxidation and reduction.Vitamin B1 is produced by plants and microorganisms. It is found free, peptide bound and as phospho-esters (mono-, di- and triphospho-esters). In animals and also in humans it is necessary to be supplemented by food. The intake of thiamin in the gut is maintained by active transport and passive diffusion. The different phospho-esters are synthesized by phosphorylation and dephosphorylation.

Technology
QuantOn - Technology
Immundiagnostik has developed a patented technology for quantitative evaluation of rapid tests. This enables the evaluation of rapid tests, also known as lateral flow tests, using a smartphone and its camera. Photometric methods can be used to analyse the rapid tests. This is independent of the sample type, i.e. blood, stool or saliva samples are just a few test types that can be evaluated with this solution. Whether for preventive care or regular monitoring for chronic diseases, this technology has achieved another milestone for successful telemedicine.
