Kowa Nonmyd - Model AF - Non-Mydriatic Retinal Camera
Standalone: Data can be saved on an SD card. A numeric keypad or bar code reader may be used for ID input. Connection to other systems: Images can be exported to any folder. An export tool (included) enables automatic ransfer of images to other systems. Connection to KOWA VK-2s Image Filing System: The user can save and/ or view images using the optional image filing system software. The KOWA VK-2s also has an image exporting function which allows output to a designated folder on the network. Options: Image Filing System "KOWA VK-2s"; External fixation target.

Slit Lamps
Kowa - Model SL-17 - Portable Slit Lamp
The SL-17 weighs less than 800g and provides easy and versatile operation with a choice of 10x and 16x magnifications, 3 slit widths* (0.1mm, 0.2mm, 0.8mm) plus spot illumination and a cobalt blue filter using a high illumination LED as the light source. The cobalt blue filter is useful for foreign body and contact lens applications. The SL-17 has a rheostat controlled light source from 0 to 20,000 Lux. The LED light source provides a much whiter light than ordinary halogen light sources found on competitive instruments.
Perimetry
Kowa - Model AP-7000 - Automatic Perimeter
Kowa`s extensive normative database considers both the central field and the periphery thus ensuring consistent, accurate assessments when using a Kowa AP-7000 perimeter. Full threshold modes offer macular, central, and peripheral coverage up to 80°, while screening modes provide swift evaluation of the visual field. To shorten test times, quick modes are available for both threshold and screening modes. Static perimetry can be linked with fundus images from cameras, OCT, and SLO to define specific test locations on the retina. With its ergonomic, compact design, the AP-7000 offers additional comfort to patients, easy operation for the clinician, and fits perfectly within the practice.
Tonometry
Kowa - Model HA-2 - Applanation Tonometer
The HA-2 applanation tonometer is an easily adaptable and accurate tool that works on the Goldmann prism principle. Using industry standard tonometer probes, this instrument is ideal for domiciliary situations or as a back-up tonometer and provides pressure readings using the gold standard applanation principle. The internal spring mechanism allows accurate readings of intra-ocular pressure in any orientation, regardless of patient position or posture. The compact and lightweight design allows simple and easy operation and the built-in illumination enables use of the instrument regardless of the lighting conditions. The precision dial provides direct readings of the pressure. A 3x long eyepiece is also available.
