Foley catheters are flexible tubes fixed into the bladder with a small inflated balloon at one end, and connected to a urine collection bag which is usually attached to the leg or the belly of the patients. Catheters are used on a permanent or temporary basis in cases of urine retention and incontinence, associated with different kind of illnesses and  certain medical interventions.
