Remote Patient Monitoring Portal

The challenge: Our client manufactures and sells IoT-enabled medical devices such as blood pressure sensors, heart monitors, and blood glucose meters. They needed a secure online portal that can display data about patients’ vital signs to caregivers and medical professionals. Our solutionimg: We designed and developed a web-based system that displays the readings that are collected from our client’s remote health monitoring products. Through this web app, users can view interactive charts of patient data, share reports, set health goals and alerts, track medications, and more.

Medical Device Software Modernization

The challenge: Emovi develops and manufactures the KneeKG system, a medical device that assesses knee motion for patients with impaired movement due to an orthopedic cause. The company wanted to modernize some of its software and develop a cloud-based clinical portal without compromising security or reliability. Our solution: We modernized a key portion of Emovi`s software suite and added several exciting new cloud-based features. Using a phased approach, SiteRocket was able to roll out new enhancements on an ongoing basis while keeping Emovi’s platform operational the entire time.

Global Dietary Database Software

The challenge: Researchers at Tufts University received funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to collect diet and nutrition data from hundreds of government health ministries, academic institutions and NGOs around the world. When this data is compared with disease databases, they can establish correlations between diets and health outcomes. The only problem: Collecting the dietary data was proving to be a complex and laborious process. Our solution: We developed a data collection web application through which users around the world can log in, contribute dietary data from their own studies and correspond with core investigators at Tufts. This web app automatically tracks and maintains the status of all data and communications, every step of the way. SkinCheck Online Software

The challenge: Our client, a group of certified dermatologists, provide diagnoses and treatment of different skin conditions. They wanted a secure way to work with their patients in a virtual world, reducing the need for time consuming in-person visits. Our solution: We designed and developed a telehealth system that allows patients to consult with their doctors by uploading photos and describing their symptoms. Through this application, dermatologists can access their patients’ data, provide real time diagnoses and track patients’ health records – communicating with their patients in an efficient and personal way.

Pediatric HIV/AIDS Cohort Study Software

The challenge: PHACS is a long-term government study of children and young adults who were born with or exposed to HIV. Leaders of this study wanted to disseminate information about their research findings to the general public, and also enable staff and researchers who are working in the study to communicate and collaborate more effectively. Our solution: We designed and developed a website through which PHACS leadership can provide information to the general public about the study, and a custom-built intranet that`s packed with features that are closely tailored to their needs. When planning this website, we orchestrated calls with numerous stakeholders in order to ensure that their voices were heard.
