Airway Management

VBM - Model Cuff Manometer - Analogue Cuff Pressure Gauges

The VBM Cuff Pressure Gauges are analogue cuff pressure gauges for checking the cuff pressure. The analog system with no dependence on any energy source makes the VBM cuff pressure gauges highly reliable under any circumstances (pre-hospital, transport, surgery, intensive care, etc.). The devices reduce the risk of pressure necrosis and mucosal ischemia. They help preventing the risk of aspiration which can lead to the possibility of pneumonia. As the inventor of Cuff Pressure Gauges, we are commited by three important principles in the development of Cuff Pressure Gauges: Reliability, precision and ease of use.

VBM - Model Cuff Controller - Automatic Cuff Pressure Gauge

VBM Cuff Controller is an electronic device that has been developed for the continuous control and monitoring of cuff pressure. It has proven showing effectiveness in maintaining cuff pressure in recommended range in ICU patients. Clinical studies have proven the positive effects of a continuous control of cuff pressure in order to prevent ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP).

VBM - Model LTS-D - Laryngeal Tube

The Laryngeal Tube is a supraglottic airway device for the use in general anesthesia during spontaneous or positive pressure ventilation. In emergency it is an ideal adjunct to secure the airway during difficult airway management as an alternative technique to mask ventilation and tracheal intubation. Securing the airway is one of the major aspects for a successful resuscitation. In the current guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) the Laryngeal Tube has been implemented as an alternative (aid) for securing the airway during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Tourniquet Systems

VBM - Tourniquet Touch

The Tourniquet Touch is an electrically operated surgical tourniquet. It regulates the pressure of a Tourniquet Cuff which temporarily occludes the blood flow of a patient`s upper or lower extremity in order to obtain a bloodless field. User friendly innovations such as Fast Choice Buttons and the specific alarm system simplify the use of the device and ensure patient safety. The system interface is reliable and intuitive and allows easy maintenance for the biomedical engineer (calibration, self test, leak test).

Manual Tourniquets

For the autonomous use without electricity and without central air. Hand Inflator with Manometer: Pressure range max. 600 mmHg. With blue or red Coil Connecting Tubing and positive locking connector. Hand Pump with Manometer: Pressure range max. 600 mmHg. With blue or red Coil Connecting Tubing and positive locking connector.

Compressed Air Tourniquets

VBM - Model 2500 - Compressed Air Tourniquet

Our compressed air tourniquets are connected to central air supply. The analog display features a precision manometer with an accurate display of the current cuff pressure. Our devices are also operational without central air supply because they automatically switch to manual operation in case of central air loss.
