The Problem: Traditionally during interventional cases, the imaging data from various modalities (x-ray, ultrasound, hemodynamics, etc.) are viewed on the large display for the physician to analyze in real-time. After the case is completed, these images may or may not be stored as separate files on the hospital’s network. The imaging data is by definition not synchronized, difficult to retrieve, and nearly impossible to analyze further for educational and training purposes.
