Conference Proceedings
Six weeks following the conference, ACE22 Proceedings will be available here for six months. The proceedings will contain 90% of the speaker presentations offered in the technical sessions.

Pre-conference workshops will take place on Sunday, June 12, 2022 and offer a full-day opportunity to take a deep-dive into today`s most relvant water topics. Register for ACE22 Pre-conference Workshops (additional fee) during the registration process. If you would like to add a workshop to your current registration, email your requests to service@awwa.org.

Public Officials Training at ACE22 

ACE offers a targeted program for new and returning public official attendees to help them make informed decisions around utility operations and finances. The courses below are designed to help mayors, water and wastewater board commissioners, and council members better understand key water issues and take smart steps to address them. Courses may be taken individually or together, depending on what topics are most relevant to you.

Vernice "FlyGirl" Armour
America’s First African American Female Combat Pilot

Vernice "FlyGirl" Armour propelled herself from beat cop to combat pilot in a record-breaking three years and became America’s First African American Female Combat Pilot. FlyGirl`s fresh, edgy style, highly contagious energy and unique, gutsy essence moves people to action. She has inspired countless organizations and individuals to make gutsy moves and create breakthrough results. 

A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, FlyGirl holds two honorary doctorates, was a Diversity Liaison Officer to the Pentagon for Headquarters Marine Corps and is a member of the COMCAST/NBCUniversal Joint Diversity Council. She has received numerous awards as a pioneering pilot, for her commanding role in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. 

She was the first Marine Corp African American female pilot, the first African American woman on the Nashville Police Department’s motorcycle squad, a Camp Pendleton Female Athlete of the Year and two-time titleholder in their Strongest Warrior Competition, and a running back for the women’s pro football team, the San Diego `Sunfire.`

For all attendees: AWWA will provide Certificates of Completion for sessions attended in-full. Please download and install the `AWWA Events` mobile app to sign-in and sign-out of each session you attend. You may access your certificates in July following the five steps below.  

For operator CEUs at ACE22 in-person: AWWA will apply for pre-approval from many U.S. states` operator licensing agencies. Be sure to check with your specific agency to determine if ACE22 will apply to your license. Please download and install the `AWWA Events` mobile app to sign-in and sign-out of each session you attend. You may then access your certificates in July following the five steps below. 

To access your self-service Certificate(s) of Completion: 

  1. Wait 60 days, then visit www.awwa.org
  2. Click "My Account" in the upper right hand corner
  3. Login using your User Name and Password (or reset if forgotten)
  4. In your account, select `My Transcripts` from left-hand menu
  5. Click `Download` button next to each program certificate
