Disinfection By-Products: Perspectives on Formation, Control and Mitigation - Webinar
This webinar is part of a research series sponsored by AWWA Water Science and the Joint Section Research Committee. Disinfection byproducts (DBPs) are one of the major challenges in water treatment plant and distribution system operations. In addition to the regulated DBPs—including trihalomethanes, haloacetic acids, bromate, and chlorite—unregulated compounds such as nitrosamines, iodinated DBPs, and haloacetamides have attracted a lot of attention in recent years. In this webinar series, three speakers will present their recent research on DBP formation, control, and mitigation, sharing their perspectives as utilities, consultants, and academics.
