Cervision™ - First International Sales Launch in Brazil

Spinologics Inc. and Importek have announced today the launch of Cervision™, an upper-extremity patient positioning device for cervical spine surgery, in Brazil. This launch marks the first international sales development of this product since its domestic introduction.

“We are pleased to introduce Cervision™ in the Brazilian market”, says Dustin Arless, Director of Clinical Development at Spinologics Inc. “The product has been serving our customers well in Canada, and we believe we are ready to serve new customers abroad. We hope to bring workflow and procedural efficiency to all surgeries of the cervical spine, especially those performed in physician-based offices.”

Importek has been selected to be the distributor in Brazil. “Spine surgery is a key area of our business. Cervision™ complements our existing product portfolio, especially the cervical spine implants that we are carrying. We are eager to see how customers will adopt this product, as this is a new type of product in the Brazilian market”, says Álvaro Tadeu dos Santos Júnior, CEO of Importek.

Cervision™’s design is patented internationally, including Brazil, and in early January 2022, the product received approval from ANVISA, the country’s regulatory authority for medical devices.
