CHROMED trial completed successfully

Restech, in its role of technical manager and together with all the partner of the project, successfully concluded the CHROMED trial.

With 312 patients enrolled and studied for 9 months by 6 clinical centers in 5 EU Countries, CHROMED has been the largest international multi-center randomized control trial evaluating the effectiveness of an integrated telecare approach for COPD patients based on telemonitoring of physiological parameters.

During the project patients have been monitored for 9 months using the RESMON PRO DIARY and an innovative proprietary algorithm has been used to generate alerts that were forwarded to the clinical centres to optimize patient’s treatment. Results of the study will be soon published on an international scientific journal.
