As a lead partner of the project “COME-IN!” for the accessibility of Museums, the CEI actively took part in the launch of the new exhibition of the Museum of Prehistory and Protohistory of Thuringia in Weimar (Germany) on 27 June.

In line with the COME-IN! Guidelines, the museums involved in the project have been introducing a set of interventions to make their museums accessible, funded by Interreg Central Europe Programme.

To hear, to touch, to smell, to participate’ - the ‘inclusive stations’ is an experience of travelling in Prehistoric times through your senses. In particular the Museum of Thuringia has launched the inclusive stations, an innovative and multisensorial way to enjoy culture. The museum has also introduced induction loops for people with hearing impairments.
