Our Strain algorithms are integrated in thefetalHQ imaging tool which is available on Voluson™ Expert 22 from GE Healthcare.fetalHQ allows users to make an easy and comprehensive evaluation of the size, shape, and contractility of the fetal heart to make more informed decisions about maternal/ fetal well-being and delivery planning using measurements based on Echocardiographic speckle tracking.

Pioneers in Strain imaging
In 2021 Medis acquired the Italian company AMID, this allowed Medis to expand its product portfolio and explore new ways. AMID is the founder of Strain and developer of many other innovative cardiovascular mechanics and innovative image processing techniques which they supplied in cooperation with a.o.TomTec.
