Description：Lentinan is an orally active biocompatible multifunctional polysaccharide with biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immune regulation, anti-tumor, hypoglycemic, and lipid-lowering[1][4].

In Vitro：Lentinan (100 μg/mL, 6 h) inhibits oxidative stress and alleviates LPS induced inflammation and apoptosis in bovine mammary epithelial cells by activating the Nrf2 signaling pathway[1]. Lentinan (0-200 μM, 24 h) reduces proliferation, migration, invasion, and cell stemness of lung adenocarcinoma cell lines H1299 and H460, and promotes cell apoptosis[4].

In Vivo：Lentinan (5, 10, 20 mg/kg; once a day; 5 days; p.o.) exerts anti influenza effect in ICR mice by regulating the TLR4/MyD88 signaling pathway to inhibit inflammatory response[2]. Lentinan (40, 100, 250 mg/kg; once a day; 5 days; i.p.) improves sepsis in burned mice by reducing Erk-FoxO1 signaling pathway and inhibiting regulatory T cell function[3]. Lentinan (100 μM, 200 μL; once a day; s.c.) upregulates miR-216a-5p by inhibiting the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway to slow down the occurrence and development of mouse lung adenocarcinoma[4]. Lentinan (200 mg/kg; once a day; 14 days; p.o.) can improve antibiotic induced intestinal inflammation and dysbiosis in mice[5]. Lentinan (10 mg/kg; once a day; 12 weeks; p.o.) alleviates diabetes cardiomyopathy in mice by inhibiting CAV1/SDHA regulated mitochondrial dysfunction[6].
