Traditional mixing techniques achieve a minimum level of mixing by pushing water forward in an attempt to create a circulating motion of the surrounding water. The Water OX discharges a strong push forward as well, but this discharge also possesses a high-speed vortex spin, which pulls in the surrounding water from all sides.  This push/pull technique multiplies the mixing capabilities of a reactor to enhance biological kinetic rates and accelerate chemical reaction rates.

Opposite charge attraction encourage coagulation and improves settling
The Water OX produces trillions of microscopically sized bubbles every minute. Each bubble possesses a slight negative charge which attracts the positively charged suspended solids around them. When enough of these coagulations occur, the solids become heavier and settle. This opposite charge attraction, coagulation and precipitation phenomenon leads to improved settling of suspended and dissolved solids in the clarifier or settling basin.
