SAV - Model Lucidis - Advanced Refractive EDOF Innovative Intraocular Lenses (IOLs)

Lucidis is an advanced refractive EDOF IOL designed to correct the vision post cataract surgery. Developed and manufactured entirely in Switzerland, it offers patients an excellent balance between a wide visual accommodation range and a high-quality vision. Lucidis integrates the EDOF technology Instant Focus built into its aspheric optical center surrounded by its refractive outer surface. As a result, the loss of light and dysphotopsia remain within close range of a monofocal lens. In addition, the visual accommodation expands from the near continuously up to the distance vision providing the patient an extra level of visual comfort. The closed loop haptic design enfolds the platform of Lucidis providing a stable fit in the capsular bag.

1. General

  • 1.1. The SAV-IOL Toric Calculator (the Calculator) is owned by SAV-IOL.
  • 1.2. The terms and conditions of use give the user the right to access the Calculator and to use it for the limited purpose of performing calculations that help to select the required Toric intraocular lens along with its optimal alignment.
  • 1.3. Upon acceptance of the terms and conditions the user is bound by the terms listed in this agreement.
  • 1.4. The user is not allowed to reproduce or modify the Calculator by any means.

2. Terms and Conditions of Use

  • 2.1. The results obtained by using the Calculator are only approximate values based on an algorithm and must be seen simply as data in nature, which cannot be used for diagnostic purposes or replace medical specialists’ calculations.

3. Privacy Policy

  • 3.1. The use of the Calculator involves the entry of certain patient information. All information entered in the Calculator is neither stored nor accessible by SAV-IOL.

4. Liability Limitations

  • 4.1. The Calculator is provided "as-is" and SAV-IOL does not guarantee that the Calculator is entirely free from errors.
  • 4.2. The User acknowledges that the Calculator may not be available due to factors such as planned or unplanned periodic maintenance of the system.
  • 4.3. The user assumes all risks and responsibilities by using the Calculator. In no way is SAV-IOL responsible or liable for damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Calculator properly.

5. Applicable Law

  • 5.1. The Agreement is governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute arising regarding the validity, the interpretation, or the performance of this agreement is exclusively submitted to the courts of the Canton of Neuchatel, Switzerland. This agreement may also be terminated by SAV-IOL at any time in case of violation of the terms and conditions.
