Chlorhex - Model C -Antiseptic/Disinfectant Concentrate
Antiseptic/disinfectant. Wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity and sustained residual effect due to binding with skin proteins. Chlorhex-C is not affected by the presence of blood and organic material.

- Active Constituent(s) 50 g/L Chlorhexidine gluconate (5% w/v)
- Indications General surgery and clinical use: preoperative skin preparation, disinfection of instruments (except those containing cemented glass), surface disinfection (e.g. operating tables).
- Dosage General antisepsis, wound and membrane flushing: Dilute 20 mL Chlorhex-C in 1 L clean water to produce a 0.05% available chlorhexidine aqueous solution.
- Preoperative skin preparation, instrument and surface disinfection: Dilute 22ml Chlorhex-C in 100 mL of methylated spirits to make a 0.5% available chlorhexidine alcohol solution.
- Note: Use prepared aqueous solution within 1 month; prepared alcohol solution within 12 months.
