Steelco - Model DS 50 Series - Compact Washer-Disinfectors for Surgical and Dental Instruments
The DS 50 Series by Steelco offers a range of compact tabletop washer-disinfectors designed for the effective cleaning and thermal disinfection of a variety of surgical and dental instruments. Featuring a processing capacity for one DIN tray, these devices automate the entire cleaning process, encompassing pre-washing, washing, and thermal disinfection stages, preparing instruments for subsequent sterilization. They feature a hygienic design utilizing high-quality AISI 316 L stainless steel, with rounded edges to prevent dirt entrapment and microbial growth. A built-in water softener enhances cleaning efficacy, while the dual rotary spray arms ensure thorough cleansing. The control panel, a soft-touch system, provides user-friendly operation with up to 40 customizable programs. For ease of use, chemical dispensers are integrated and visible. Enhanced drying is achieved with a forced air system, complete with HEPA 14 filtration. The devices support injection washing and traceability, ensuring comprehensive performance and monitoring.
The DS 50 Series of compact washer-disinfectors represents the ideal aid for the cleaning and the thermal disinfection of all types of surgical and dental instruments, with a processing capacity of one DIN tray. The devices automatically execute the three functions of pre-washing, washing, and thermal disinfection. At the end of the cycle, the instruments are ready for sterilization with no further handling.
The DS 50 Series of washer-disinfectors are designed to allow a simple installation onto a bench-top and provide a practical and safe solution for chemical storage. The built-in water softener provides optimal cleaning effectiveness. The drop-down door can conveniently be used as a loading platform for an ergonomic loading and unloading process.
Efficient Washing
The combination of a heavy washing pump ensuring a high flow rate with effective spray pressure guarantees optimal cleaning performance.
Thermal Disinfection
Washing and disinfection temperatures are fully adjustable up to 93°C / 199 F. Temperature is monitored by two independent sensors.
Drying Efficacy
Built-in HEPA 14 filtered forced air drying system provides even and fast drying of surgical instruments. It allows for adjustable time and temperature settings, optimizing cycle duration and energy consumption.
Smart Filtering System
The triple water filtering system is easily accessible from the washing chamber. It captures residue preventing re-circulation during the process and extending the pump life.
Injection Connection
Washing injection connection allowing the use of injection washing baskets sending water directly into hollow objects.
Traceabilty
Printer connection to monitor and validate washing phases. USB port available for DS 50 DRS only.
