Tex-Care - Cotton Tubular Stockinette
Cotton tubular stockinettes can be used as the “base layer” under a cast or multi-layered compression, and for mild compression to aid in wound care. Tex Care’s cotton stockinettes are 100% U.S. cotton, and are designed to protect the skin and provide comfort after an injury, as limbs swell, or to protect skin underneath a cast or bandage.
Tex Care’s cotton stockinettes are made of circular knitted natural cotton fibers, sourced right here in the U.S.A. Our focus on U.S.-based materials significantly reduces the risk to patients associated with Chinese-made cotton stockinettes, which have been found to harbor a specific fungus that is harmful to the healing process.
In addition, our cotton tubular stockinettes can stretch up to 3x their size, with packaging designed to yield the maximum possible per 25-yard roll. The dispenser box with perforated tab is designed to yield the maximum possible product per roll, and to eliminate cardboard particulate transfer.
Tex Care cotton tubular stockinettes are extremely soft and comfortable for patients. We offer different stockinette size varieties to accommodate each patient’s needs, including 2-inch, 3-inch, 4-inch, 6-inch, 9-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch options. Each length offers the same density and thickness to help prevent bunching underneath the cast, and they are also:
