Helicoter - Free-Flowing Powder
Helicoter is a new approach in treatment of patients with H. pylori infection. Helicoter contains a free-flowing powder obtained through fermentation and spray-drying of Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17648, which has a specific anti-helicobacter effect. It specifically binds and aggregates the stomach bacterium Helicobacter pylori. Thanks to this unique mode of action, Helicoter helps to reduce the bacterial load of H. pylori in the stomach. The result is a necessary reduction in the level of Helicobacter pylori which helps to prevent the recurrence of chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and also prevents the appearance of diseases of the stomach and duodenum.
- 1 capsule contains:
- Active ingredient: PYLOPASS™ (Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17648) – 200 mg
Pylopass™ helps to reduce the bacterial load of H. pylori in the stomach in a highly targeted way. It works by forming coaggregates with H. pylori due to its molecular shape, a bit like Velcro. Molecules on the surface of Pylopass™ ?t speci?cally with the structures on the surface of H. pylori. The coaggregation depends only on the mechanical binding of these structures. After coaggregation, it is excreted from the body through the digestive tract, thus reducing H. pylori levels. Pylopass™ can withstand the low pH of the stomach because it employs a mechanism that does not depend on survival in the gastric environment.
- Reduces the quantity of H. pylori to safe level
- Excludes undesirable consequences of eradication
- Preserves healthy microflora balance in stomach
- Helicoter is recommended to patients with chronic gastrointestinal diseases, which risk factor is the bacterium Helicobacter pylori - erosive gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.
- Helicoter can also be recommended to adults and children from 6 years of age to restore normal digestion after diarrhea caused by intoxication and seasonable acute intestinal infections.
