HemCon ChitoFlex® PRO Hemostatic dressing intended for emergency use for the external, temporary control of severely bleeding wounds. It also controls bleeding in patients following hemodialysis, at percutaneous needle access, vascular access, and percutaneous catheter access sites. In addition to controlling severe bleeding, it also offers an antibacterial barrier against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms, including antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Enterococcus faecalis (VRE), and Acinetobacter baumannii.
