Model PipTree - Implants for Pip Arthrodesis
PipTree – Arthrodesis of the proximal interphalangeal joint of the small toes. Implant for PIP joint fusion.The PipTree implant is an intramedullary force carrier, which enables a stable osteosynthesis of the toe in a physiological position. This easy-to-insert titanium implant fixes the toe in the desired flexion position.
The easy-to-insert titanium implant fixes the toe in the desired flexion position. Due to the intramedullary position the risk of pin-tract infections can be avoided.
Stable anchorage in the bone
PipTree offers high rotational and primary stability while maintaining the physiological flexion position with a complete intraosseous position.
Different angles of flexion
Depending on the desired flexion position there are three different angle designs available: 0°, 10° and 20°
