PharyDoc - Integrates Imaging System
PharyDoc integrates imaging such as fluoroscopy or endoscopy, together with patient video and audio, commonly used during dysphagia, speech and cleft palate examinations. The system is scalable and can include one or several examination rooms. With PharyDoc, examinations can be recorded, edited, reviewed and securely stored with imaging, video and audio fully synchronized.
Using PharyDoc, you can record and save synchronized fluoroscopy or endoscopy images, patient video and audio.
PharyDoc features lossless audio recording without compression. The system simultaneously captures images from the X-ray machine or endoscope, the video camera as well as audio from two microphone inputs (patient and operator audio). Recording can be configured to start automatically, for example when the fluoroscopy pedal is pressed.
As PharyDoc can be connected to the hospital HIS, RIS or EHR system, it offers the full convenience of DICOM worklist functionality, but also allows registration of unscheduled patients. Patient information validation, such as social security number validation, is possible and customizable to suit local needs.
All elements captured during the examination remain synchronized during playback. Replay everything together or select to review a single element, in normal speed or frame by frame in slow motion.
PharyDoc also lets you export images or video files to a portable storage device for educational use. Examinations captured at the workstation are easily accessed and reviewed from other hospital computers with separately installed software clients, such as at the doctor’s office, from an auditorium or at a remote location.
At any PharyDoc workstation, examinations can be accessed and edited. Select sequences of interest to extract from the recorded material, to be saved in PACS or exported as video or image files for easy sharing or use in presentations and lecturing.
With a common storage in place, access to recorded material is easy. Images and audio can be reviewed inside or outside the hospital or shared to an auditorium. PharyDoc also lets you export images or video files to a portable storage device.
All recorded material is saved on a scalable storage, either directly in the examination room or in the hospital department. Recorded material or edited sequences can optionally be sent to the hospital PACS. PharyDoc links all recorded examinations to the unique patient identification number, ensuring an optimal work flow.
