Label-Free Optical GMR Technology for Molecular Interaction Analysis

SHARE

Guided-mode resonance (GMR) technology is a novel label-free optical approach that can measure a wide variety of molecular interactions in real-time using a standard microarray plate format. GMR signal(s) response is directly related to the binding density of the medium on the sensor surface.

Versatility

Real time measurements enable faster data acquisition with more information and binding characteristics on every test. Ability to measure multiple points in each well to maximize the number of tests per plate.

Multiple Applications

Can be used in numerous antibody characterization applications, including affinity analysis, epitope binning, selectivity and specificity screening. This flexible system can also be used for protein, small molecule, cell-based assays and more.

Rapid results in a high throughput standard 96-well format

Our sensor plates come in standard 96-well microarray formats with our novel sensor element embedded in the bottom of the plate. The reaction occurs at the sensor surface and is compatible with conventional attachment chemistries such as biotinylated reagents.  We optically monitor the reflected beam from the bottom of the plate, without having to penetrate through the sample.  This enables small sample volumes (less than 50 microliters per well) and the ability to test crude samples during an assay.
