Ceatec - Nathanson Retractor
The Nathanson retractor have proven to be ideal for primarily in Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease procedures, but can also be used in a wide range of laparoscopic surgeries as they support the entire liver to provide atraumatic exposure. The Holding and Positioning Arm can be also used for open surgery, enabling a better view of the operating field.
The retractors feature a hexagonal proximal end which fits securely into the Quick-Connect Hex Fitting. This direct attachment prevents axial slippage common with other holding systems.
A variety of individual configurations and retractor sets are available to accommodate all patients and procedures including bariatrics and pediatrics.
The shape of the stainless steel device evenly distributes the weight load. The retractors come in three sizes and can be resterilized by steam autoclave.
With the additional accessories (e.g. holder for optic/endoscope or for instruments), the Nathanson retractor extends it’s supporting features for open surgeries, even for larger or bariatric patients.
