Stasys - Platelet Measurement System
The system is designed to form microclots from whole blood samples to measure platelet forces, aggregation, and function. No use of agonists or reagents, no offsite labs; faster, more accurate results means faster, more-informed decision-making for trauma doctors.

Built for use at point-of-care, the machine has a user-friendly interface, consisting of intuitive card-loading and a screen that clearly displays results of the sample. An internal windows-based computer is used for operation. Results of the blood sample are ready within five minutes, empowering doctors and clinicians to make quicker decisions, for better patient outcomes.
Power Specifications
The system operates on 120 V AC power common to North America and requires a peak of 4A.

- Rates of clot formation
- Rates of clot aggregation
- Platelet forces
- Clotting behavior
The System is designed for use at point-of-care and consists of three parts:
The Stasys proprietary sensor technology measures the force of a formed microclot on the cellular level, and rapidly evaluates factors the blood to assess coagulopathy:
- Rates of clot formation
- Rates of clot aggregation
- Platelet forces
- Clotting behavior
The card is loaded easily into the benchtop machine, where platelet forces, aggregation, and function are measured rapidly.
Function
The single-use microcard, which contains the sensor to assess coagulopathy, ensures that tests can be done easily and efficiently, and with a controlled high-precision injection of blood to be sampled.
Design
The disposable microcard enables clinicians and doctors to obtain accurate results easily–eliminating the need to engage with an offsite lab–with both speed and reliability.
