BW-Industry - Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) Tubing
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is a high-strength, high-temperature thermoplastic. Peek tubing is made by the continuous extrusion tubing , good dimensional stability can be extruded thousands of meters without fracture.
As a manufacturer of PEEK tubing, we understand the properties of PEEK products very well, due to the high temperature resistance, high pressure, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance and many other excellent properties of the peek material, it is gradually being replaced by stainless steel tubing material.
PEEK tubing has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any high-performance thermoplastic material and has the strength required for continuous use at hplc pressure. Its unique material properties are inert to most chemical solutions, and the inside of peek tubing is very smooth, increasing the reliability of data for sample analysis.
We have a wide range of PEEK Tubing sizes OD 1/16“ , OD 1/32” , OD 1/8” and many other OD ID sizes for you to choose from (see the table below for more details), which meets the USP Class VI and ISO 10993 standards for materials.
PEEK Medical Tubing
Features of PEEK medical tubing:
- Toughness and Rigidity: PEEK tubeing are both tough and rigid, unlike traditional medical tubing.
- Fatigue Resistance and Insulation: PEEK tubing resist fatigue very well and provide strong insulation, with a 0.2mm thickness achieving 5KV strength.
- High-Temperature Performance: They maintain good mechanical properties up to 160°C. PEEK medical tubing are stable in size, strong, wear-resistant, chemically resistant, low in moisture absorption, impact-resistant, and flame-retardant. Their insulation stays effective even in humid or high-temperature conditions, suitable for all common medical sterilization methods.
- Wide Applications: These medical tubes are used in minimally invasive surgeries like venous and cardiac radiofrequency ablation, laparoscopic instruments, endoscopes, and urological vapor ablation.
- Low Friction and Wear Resistance: PEEK material reduces friction and wear during endoscope movement, ensuring long life and accuracy. It is also used in key endoscope parts like connectors, handles, and arms, meeting high standards without metal ion release.
