The SimplySure PT-INR (Prothrombin Time-International Normalized Ratio) Test for whole blood coagulation leverages a unique, patented technology that provides a visual quantitative reading directly on the test strip without the need of an expensive external test instrument. Existing tests for PT-INR are based on electrochemical detection using chemical sensors and digital detection by means of an expensive external reader device. The SimplySure test is a microfluidic device that causes the blood sample move across a chemical laden strip by a certain distance that equates to what the PTINR test measures.
