Abena’s Silicone Foam Dressing with Adhesive Border is a highly absorbent self-adherent silicone foam dressing consisting of a soft silicone contact layer, a flexible polyurethane foam pad, and a vapor-permeable, moisture-proof outer film with a low-profile border for added adhesion and flexibility. The dressing is comfortable as well as conformable. The triple-layered construction facilitates dynamic fluid management to provide the optimal moist wound environment, which helps promote faster wound closure and reduce risk of maceration. The gentle silicone layer can be lifted and repositioned without losing its adherence.
PROTECTIVE BACKING
Made of polyurethane film, this highly breathable layer conforms to the skin while providing barrier protection from water and bacteria.
SUPER ABSORBENT FIBER
Has exceptional absorption capability and helps minimize the risk of maceration.
ABSORBENT FOAM
Made of polyurethane foam, this layer manages high levels of exudate, helping to prevent maceration.
SILICONE ADHESIVE BORDER
Distributes wound exudate fast and evenly, helping minimize pain and the risk of damage to the wound area during removal.
