Standard C:
The prosthesis stems in the Standard C system are fabricated from a TiAl6V4 forged alloy and follow the concept of a straight stem with a flattened lateral shoulder. The straight profile with rectangular cross-section provides the implant with proximal stability. The hydroxylapatite coating makes for speedy bone integration.
Standard C Cem:
The prosthesis stem of the Standard C Cem system is fabricated from a steel alloy FeCrNiMnMoNbN (M30NW) with a highly polished surface. The standard stem C gives the surgeon intraoperative flexibility. The system makes it possible to switch over to a cemented prosthesis without having to change instruments.
