MtoZ Biolabs - NAD Metabolism-Related Substance Analysis
NAD metabolism-related small molecules include oxidized nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH), oxidized nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP), reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH), nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), nicotinamide (NAM), nicotinamide riboside (NaR), and adenosine triphosphate (ATP). NAD, also known as coenzyme I, is an essential coenzyme in redox processes and participates in various physiological activities such as DNA repair, cellular metabolism, and energy synthesis.+++
MtoZ Biolabs utilizes a detection platform for NAD metabolism-related small molecules based on GC/MS (Agilent 7890A/5975C) and ACQUITY UPLC/TripleQuad 5500 (Waters/AB Sciex). This platform allows for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of multiple NAD metabolism-related small molecules, with 95% of these molecules quantified using standard and isotope-labeled standards.
1. Types of Samples
Serum, plasma, urine, bile, bile acids, cells, liver, brain tissue, and other animal tissues, feces, plants, yeast, microorganisms, etc.
2. Sample Quantities
(1) Blood samples, bile: 10μL
(2) Various tissues: 10 mg
(3) Feces: 10 mg
For other sample types and quantities, please contact MtoZ Biolabs salesman.
3. Sample Transportation
Considering the evaporation rate of 3-4 kg of dry ice per day, ensure ample dry ice used for mailing (preferably larger dry ice pieces as they evaporate slower), and sealed in foam boxes. Opt for the fastest possible mailing method to reduce sample degradation during transport.
