Alfa ChemistryNitrocellulose Membranes as Excipients

SHARE
Nitrocellulose (NC) membranes are a series of paper-like matrices with micro-scale porous structures. Due to their good biocompatibility, unique physical and chemical properties, and the ability to immobilize various biomolecules, NC membranes have been widely used in the biomedical field. For example, NC membranes are commonly used to immobilize nucleic acids in southern blots and northern blots, and to immobilize proteins in western blots.
