The so-called genetic “fingerprint” of an individual helps to determine how they may react to a particular treatment or medication(s). Any approach that is not custom-tailored to the individual patient may result in decreased effectiveness or severe side-effects that may be highly detrimental to both quality-of-life and state-of-health.
Our goal is to support physicians in choosing the best possible therapy and dosage by minimizing therapy risks and avoiding medicating errors. Our analysis of the patient´s genetic profile helps doctors custom-tailor the treatment to their patient´s individual requirements.
We have also developed the mobile app Pillbox to help patients adhere to their therapy in real life. The app reminds patients to take their medication on-time and enhances quality-of-life by providing easy to use documentation and communication features.
