We offer an end-to-end protein service for research-grade protein expression. From cloning to expression and purification, we enable our customers to unlock new potential for their research projects, without occupying their own resources. Combining the advantages of our versatile ALiCE® technology with our experience in protein production, our team of specialists will ensure you get the best results, even for the most difficult-to-express proteins.

Using our proprietary ALiCE® technology, our team of passionate protein scientists have a nearly 100% success rate in expressing customer proteins in our system, and an impressive 90% success rate in protein purification.

Your protein service project starts with a consultation with our team of experts in which your precise protein needs are explored.
Your project will then typically pass through several phases. At each phase, you will receive clear deliverables and a report. After receiving the results of each phase, you can decide if you wish to proceed to the next phase.
We design and optimize construct(s) for the expression of your protein of interest, including codon optimization for expression in ALiCE® and cloning into vectors for cytosolic and/or microsomal expression with N-/C-terminal tags. We run a series of small-scale expression screenings to assess the feasibility of protein production. We deliver you a protein expression feasibility report.
We run an expression study in mL-scale with the optimal construct from Step 1 and run a Strep-tag purification trial, testing several different purification conditions. We deliver you a protein purification report including optimal parameters and yields obtained.
Initial protein production and purification in milligram (mg) scale (up to 1 g purified protein). We deliver you STREP-tag-purified protein in the mg range.
