What can you expect? 

Your protein service project starts with a consultation with our team of experts in which your precise protein needs are explored. 

Your project will then typically pass through several phases. At each phase, you will receive clear deliverables and a report. After receiving the results of each phase, you can decide if you wish to proceed to the next phase. 

How it works

Step 1 - Feasibility study: 

We design and optimize construct(s) for the expression of your protein of interest, including codon optimization for expression in ALiCE® and cloning into vectors for cytosolic and/or microsomal expression with N-/C-terminal tags. We run a series of small-scale expression screenings to assess the feasibility of protein production. We deliver you a protein expression feasibility report. 

Step 2 – Trial isolation and purification:

We run an expression study in mL-scale with the optimal construct from Step 1 and run a Strep-tag purification trial, testing several different purification conditions. We deliver you a protein purification report including optimal parameters and yields obtained. 

Step 3 – Protein production

Initial protein production and purification in milligram (mg) scale (up to 1 g purified protein). We deliver you STREP-tag-purified protein in the mg range.
