Wincc OA Basic Training Webbased Training

Prerequisites

• The offer of web-based training courses is limited to the time period of the Coronavirus crisis (SARS-CoV- 2 / COVID-19).
• The web-based basic training is restricted to a maximum number of 5 participants per course.
• Trainees must join on time, according to the time from their meeting invitation. Late Participants might be excluded from the course.
• Participating trainees should be PC literate (MS Windows, keyboard and mouse skills), have PLC and network knowledge. A basic knowledge of programming is advantageous. Participants not fulfilling the preconditions might be excluded from the course.
• Trainees must use a suitable laptop or desktop computer (one computer per trainee). A minimum specification for this PC is detailed in the note below.
• A training copy of the WinCC OA software will be installed on this computer as part of the training.
• 2 screens must be connected to the used computer.
• Trainees must use a decent headset and webcam for the communication (NO Polycom NOR computer
• mic / speakers).
• A proper internet connection must be available (preferably NO VPN).
• Trainees must be in a quiet room (alone in the room, NO background noise).
• As tools, Cisco WebEx or MS Teams and Siemens Conceptboard are used.
• Required material is exchanged via Siemens SecuFex and email.
• Training objectives
• On completion of this course the trainee will be able to produce a simple application and modify existing
  applications.
