Growth performance of Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK NBL-2) cells in media containing Simplified Platelet Lysate (SimPL), fetal bovine serum (FBS), or human platelet lysate (hPL). Cells were grown in standard DMEM/F12 basal media containing penicillin, streptomycin, and GlutaMAX™ with either 10% (v/v) FBS, 2.5% SimPL, or 2.5% hPL.
