Using our delipidized human serum as a starting material, Aalto has proprietary processes that are highly effective in removing or reducing a wide number of analytes of interest to the clinical chemist. If you need to manufacture a low level control, or calibrator, our stripped serum is your ideal matrix choice.

This product is manufactured using fresh human plasma that is obtained from US FDA licensed blood collection facilities. The plasma is converted to serum, delipidized, dialyzed, and adjusted to the customer’s specification for total protein. Cholesterol and Triglycerides are less than 15 and 30 mg/dL respectively. The resulting product is an optically clear solution that is ideal for manufacturing of controls.

The plasma is converted to serum, then dialyzed and adjusted to customer’s specifications for total protein. The lipid portion is intact. All donor units have been tested and found to be negative for all FDA required pathogens.
