CryoValve SG Pulmonary Human Heart Valves are indicated for the replacement of diseased, damaged, malformed, or malfunctioning native or prosthetic pulmonary valves. They may also be used in the replacement of native pulmonary valves when the Ross Procedure is performed. Pulmonary heart valve allografts are used to repair both congenital and acquired valve lesions.⁵

Homografts, such as CryoValve Aortic Valves, are recommended by the current STS Clinical Practice Guidelines³ for patients with extensive active endocarditis destruction of the aortic annulus (Class I, Level of Evidence B) and can be considered for patients with endocarditis without annular destruction, especially when the potential for reinfection is elevated. (Class IIa, Level of evidence B).
