Based on over 10 years of experience, E-vita OPEN NEO is the next generation hybrid stent graft system for aortic arch and descending aorta repair with Frozen Elephant trunk technique. Each disease requires a unique technique and oversizing strategy, and based on this E-vita OPEN NEO has been created with three stent graft configurations and dedicated designs of the vascular and stent graft sections. The three diameters of the vascular section allow for reproducible anastomosis, while the full range of options of the stent graft section provides the adequate oversizing for both aneurysms and dissections. The compact delivery system allows easy positioning of the device, and the deployment can be performed in a controlled fashion with progessive expansion of the stent graft section.

Type A Aortic Dissection (TAAD) presents itself emergently. Left untreated, mortality of type A dissection is reported to be approximately 1% to 2% per hour after onset of symptoms¹ and can lead to 50% mortality in the first 48 hours.
