Basadi Ba Dithakga, meaning “hard working women” in Setswana was founded in September 2015. The name was chosen because it highlighted the strength of women. The company was started to serve as a platform and inspiration for women to explore and create opportunities for themselves in the male dominated technical field of engineering. We are currently providing services in Non destructive testing (NDT), and supply of NDT technicians. We provide both conventional methods services and training of the conventional NDT methods. The conventional methods we use and provide training for include magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT), ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current testing (ET) and visual testing (VT). Our current clients are in the mining industry, however NDT is a diverse field which is applied in various fields. We would like to get access in the petrochemical, rail, power generation industries.
