Convion Ltd

Convion Ltd was established in 2012 and in January 2013 the company took over Wärtsilä’s fuel cell program and continued development and commercialization of products based on solid oxide fuel cell technology as an independent company. In spite of its young age, Convion has significant background in the development of highly efficient SOFC systems. Since year 2000 Convion team has developed and operated several generations of 20 kW and 50 kW SOFC power units fuelled by natural gas and biogas. With competence and commitment of our team, Convion will commercialize solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) systems for distributed power generation. Products will be distributed to global markets in co-operation with key partners and customers.
