Hawksley

Hawksley is a long established business with a tradition of producing well-engineered, dependable products at very competitive prices. Established in Oxford Street London in 1869 by Charles Hawksley, the Company began by innovating with Counting Chambers. In the 1930´s, Hawksley was bought by William Baum, a US businessman, and started to manufacture blood pressure monitoring devices. In the 1950s Hawksley & Sons began an innovation programme to construct and manufacture a new range of centrifuges. Out of this came the Hawksley Haematospin 1300 & 1400, setting the standard for Micro Haematocrit centrifuges. Hawksley have continued to manufacture quality products and have built a product range which compliments our manufacturing expertise in three specific medical areas: laboratory equipment & consumables, Patient Care, and Veterinarian equipment & consumables.
