When asked to mention a form of life-saving medical aid, most people will probably think of complex surgery, powerful medicine or even vital vaccinations. However, there are other treatments that can save lives and yet often get overlooked. Take dialysis, for example. The kidneys are meant to remove excess water, solutes and toxins from the blood. When they can no longer do this naturally and people aren’t given proper medical care, this will almost certainly lead to their death as toxins and water build up in their system.

The diagnostic unit supports general diagnostic services such as orthopedic diagnostics, TB screening and a wide range of lab tests. The patients enter the mobile diagnostic unit in the waiting area/small office that gives access to the X-ray room and the lab area. The X-ray room consists of a X-ray, PACS-station and a small changing room with curtains.

The mobile primary health care (PHC) clinic is specifically developed to reach people who don’t have acces to primary health care. The complete clinic weights less than 3,5 ton and can be driven by anyone who has a driver license. The unit is prepared for independent use and includes a generator, airconditioning, sink, supply and waste water tank. Also a sun shade cover is included to create a comfortable waiting area.

The surgical Hospitrailer can be used for both minor and major surgeries, for example caesarean sections, orthopaedic procedures and many other surgical procedures. The surgical Hospitrailer consists of a 40ft standard shipping container on a trailer for maximum mobility. The 40ft container is transformed into a medical facility with very robust characteristics.

The 50 bed mobile hospital is based upon three trucks and trailers. The trailers combined with inflatable tents and can be rapidly deployed. The complete setup is self supporting. Diesel generators, water storage and filtration and air conditioning is included.
